The refugee resettlement program needs your help more than ever. The time is very clearly NOW to stand in solidarity with our refugee and immigrant communities. Here are a few different ways, with time or money, to show your support.
ATTEND SOLIDARITY EVENTS NEAR YOU:
–Donate to CWS Durham, a refugee resettlement agency that needs your funds to maintain programs that support newly arrived refugees with employment assistance, English classes, basic case management, and discounted immigration legal services.
–Call your representatives with this guide and ask them to represent you by opposing the current and potential orders that negatively affect immigrant and refugee communities.

–Support NC United for Refugees and Immigrants (NCURI) by staying plugged in to ongoing refugee and immigrant-led organizing in the Triangle area.
–Check out who funds your congressperson, find DC numbers of congress, and find out your representatives’ stances on issues // Understand sanctuary city resources and how to make your community safer // Know Your Rights, and share helpful resources about how to respond if met with harassment or unmotivated investigation.
