One of the first things we do for every arriving client is furnish their apartment so that is clean, safe, and well-stocked on their arrival. For each individual or family we provide a set list of furniture and other household items in order to help them begin their new life here in the USA.
In order to save some of the clients’ funding from the US government for things like rent, utilities, and other necessary expenses, we try to gather as much of these furnishings as possible from our friends in the community.
